Our Story
Sofia's Pizza opened in 2014 with a vision of a local mom-and-pop shop in the heart of Worcester, serving tasty New England Greek, old-world style pies. Family owned and operated, Sofia's handcrafts its dough, simmers its own homemade sauce, and shreds its cheese in-house.
The menu draws inspiration from the hardworking communities Sofia's serves. In New England’s second-largest city, the shop offers flavors from around the world: an amazing Greek pizza, an out-of-this-world Portuguese pizza, a Salvadoran pizza made with loroco flower buds, delicious Brazilian pizzas, and new-world classics like the House Special and Hot Honey Crispy Pepperoni pizzas.
Sofia's mission is to make great food and empower people of all ages to embrace their inner strength and be the best they can be on their journey through life. The company logo reflects this spirit, proudly featuring a World War II-inspired iconic woman with a bandanna, sleeves rolled up, apron on, holding up one of Sofia’s pizzas.
Deeply connected to the Worcester community, Sofia's has provided discounted pizzas to local organizations, schools, and colleges for charity events and fundraisers for many years. The shop welcomes inquiries from local groups planning events and looking to partner with a neighborhood pizzeria.
