Our Story

Sofia's Pizza opened on Canterbury Street in 2014 with a vision of creating a neighborhood, family-owned pizzeria in the heart of Worcester, serving delicious New England Greek-style pizza. Family owned and operated, Sofia's handcrafts its dough, simmers its homemade sauce, and shreds its cheese daily in-house.

Our menu is inspired by the hardworking and diverse communities we serve. In New England’s second-largest city, we proudly offer flavors from around the world, including our signature Greek pizza, an out-of-this-world Portuguese pizza, a Salvadoran pizza made with loroco flower buds, delicious Brazilian pizzas, and customer favorites like our House Special and Hot Honey Crispy Pepperoni pizzas.

At Sofia's, our mission is to make great pizza, inspire girl power, and give back to the community. Our logo reflects that spirit, featuring an iconic World War II-inspired woman wearing a bandanna, rolled-up sleeves, and an apron while proudly holding one of Sofia’s pizzas.

Deeply connected to the Worcester community, Sofia's has proudly provided discounted pizzas to local organizations, schools, and colleges for charity events and fundraisers for many years.
